Minnesota Small Business Resource Guide

“You’re in business for yourself, but you don’t have to be in business by yourself.” (From the last page of the guide.)
This is “A Guide for Business Start-Up and Growth,” including training opportunities, market research tools, financing suggestions, business plan fundamentals, checklists, and more.  It is a 48-page PDF that can be printed or consulted online, with many links to additional resources. The Small Business Administration is a federal service with district offices in each state.  In addition to the Resource Guide, the Minnesota District Office web site has more links and helps available.  The resources are strongly weighted for the Twin Cities area, but there are many available statewide and some specific to the Northeast.  Another resource still available in print to check out from the library is A Guide to Starting a Business in Minnesota, from the state Small Business Assistance Office.
