Support Your Library
The Two Harbors Public Library needs your help!
Public Libraries exist to support the community – and communities support the Library. There are many ways in which you help us provide the best Library we can for the City of Two Harbors and the surrounding area.
The Library would not run if there were no volunteers. Our volunteers get the books back on the shelves (in order!) so that they can be checked out again. We also have jobs for young volunteers – if you are 4th grade or above, you can help out at the library. Call or stop by the Library and ask for our volunteer coordinator.
The Friends of the Library also need Volunteers for fundraising, running the Book Sale, and program support. Visit the Friends webpage, call, or stop by the Library for more information.
The Library will take your gently used books, DVDs, and other materials. If we do not add them to our collection, they will be given to the Friends of the Library Book Sale. All proceeds from the Book Sale go to support the Library – it is a win-win situation! Please take a look at our Gift Policy; or stop in or call the Library for more information.
Support the Library with Gifts and Memorials. We accept general support and gifts with a particular project or intent (e.g. Children’s Books, DVDs, Summer Reading Program incentives). We accept Gifts and Memorials from individuals, groups, and organizations. We continue to accept donations for the Patio Project: be a part of the Library with an engraved patio paver for a $100.00 donation to the Library. Please contact the Library Director for more information.
Thank you for supporting YOUR Two Harbors Public Library!
